Social media site providing a constant stream of interesting news on the web. This site has traditionally had a strong tech/nerd leaning, but now covers a wide range of topics. Social media is a great way to discover content on the web, as well as to find out what is popular. The comments section of the site, whilst of inappropriate for young readers, provides a great insight into the functioning of an essentially anonymous online community (people seem to say things they would not in “real life”).
